The road

You want to walk a mile in my shoes?

Man, I don’t think so

I don’t think you’ll make it

Do I think the shoe won’t fit?

Absolutely not

Maybe it will fit perfectly

But that road…

I’m not sure whether I should call it slippery

I don’t know

But here’s what I know

It is full of mixed signals

I feel like I’m reading everything wrongly

It’s exhausting

When I have to sit and think about one thing a million and one times

And end up overthinking

Giving the wrong response

And bam!

Dead end

I’m not being pessimistic

I just like seeing all possible ways something is going to turn out

You should always be prepared they say

So, yes I don’t think you’ll make it

But you’re welcome to try.
